All garden tools should be well maintained in order to keep them in tip-top condition, ready to use.

After use, always clean the blades, brushing off any debris and remove any small twigs or branches from between the blade teeth. Wipe clean the whole unit and store in a dry, safe storage place. Either indoors in the house or in the garden shed, garage or other garden storage. If required recharge the battery so that it is fully charged and ready to use next time.
