The most effective way I have found of cleaning areas with this product is to sweep first with a stiff yard brush, clearing any loose dirt and debris away, then spray with Sika Patio cleaner and leave it to do its work while you sit with a cup of tea or use your time for more pleasant garden work.

On really badly soiled areas you may need to do another application in a couple of weeks time but this is in cases where areas haven’t been cleaned for many years.

I have tried other patio cleaners before, ones that are cheaper but have been very disappointed with the results. “You get what you pay for” is certainly true with these products.

Sika is not the cheapest but you use less of it as you don’t have to keep repeating the process.

In most cases one application is enough, therefore it is cost effective.
