Today I am going to talk about the best cordless hedge trimmers that are available. These are my top choices and they certainly can cut it, safely and easily.

Having a versatile range of well maintained garden tools is paramount to taking good care of your plants and garden all year round. Both hand tools and power tools are necessary items.

When Should I Prune Hedges?
Hedges need to be maintained if they are to continue to look neat and compact and to maintain density. Regular, timely pruning of these important wildlife habitats will keep them from getting out of hand, stopping them from encroaching on other plants around them. Regular maintenance also keeps them in a healthy condition, which of course is vital.

The McCulloch 58V Cordless Hedge Trimmer is the Best hedge trimmer that I have used. I use it in a professional capacity and it handles light trimming or tough hedges with ease.
It is fairly lightweight, not anywhere near as heavy as petrol versions and the battery has a long run time so those more time consuming hedges can be done in a timely fashion.
It doesn’t clog up, so work is done efficiently and quickly.
It is not the cheapest but I always maintain that you get what you pay for. This has never let me down, it is so reliable and invaluable to me. An ideal choice for professional or domestic use.
The only thing I have against is that I sometimes find the battery is hard to pull out when I need to disconnect it to recharge. I think that is because the battery is bigger than most and I can’t get hold of it properly. Despite this I still give it a 5star rating.

Always clean any garden tools after use, oil and maintain them regularly and they will undoubtedly last longer. Thank you for sharing such vital information. I have a black and decker cordless hedge trimmer. This is definitely the best machine you can get for your garden. It is petrol extendable hedge trimmer, easy to use for trimming hedges and cutting divisions that are hard to reach.
Hello Eddie, Thank you for your comments, I am little confused however, I don’t use petrol garden tools any longer. I much prefer cordless ones for ease of use and for environmental reasons.
